Beach
-
Typical of this part of the coast the beach here is sandy and reasonably wide. Sea Isle city is right at the end of Highway 625, and to get to the pot turn left off the highway until you reach Landis Avenue. Park at a meter and pay the fee, then take a short walk down to 36th Street and the beach. It is public access and the spot is between two jetties.

Wind&Waves
-
This spot only works when the wind is coming from the west, although that tends to be the main wind direction anyway. The swell can come from the north, west or south for it to work, and it will start building at 1m – 1.5 before holding at 4m or more. It works on both rising and falling tides, and you should catch it anytime except at low tide. A sandbar break, to both the right and left, the waves here are fairly big but don’t have too much power in them, so surfers can just concentrate on enjoying them. Wave length is usually an average 100 – 150m, but a storm swell can easily see that reach over 50m. The best time to be here is in summer or the fall hurricane season when the waves are at their biggest. It is a quiet spot during the week but can be crowded on summer weekends.

Safety
