Beach
-
A long beach with golden sand, this is a popular vacation spot. It is easy to find once you are in Ocean City – just watch out for the 48th Street signs, and park wherever you can. In summer you’ll need to get there early in the morning to guarantee a good parking spot close to the beach.
-
Wind&Waves
-
The surf here only works when there is decent wind coming from the west and the swell is coming up from the southwest. It will start working at a fairly small level, less than 1m, and will hold up to 2.5m or more on a good day. It can be ridden at both low and mid tide. A standard beach break, right and left, the waves are fun without having too much power in them. The length of the wave can range between about 50m and 150m or so, and stays in that range pretty much all of the time. The spot is always crowded in summer, even during the week.
