- Laying just 15 km from Casablanca is the beach at Dar Bouazza which is popular with experienced surfers of all types thanks to its fairly consistent surf which works practically all year round. The season is from April to September but off season is also possible.
- Just 72 km from Casablanca Airport and 50 km south of Rabat lies the beautiful family beach of Bouznika which looks out onto the Atlantic Ocean. It is peaceful and quiet here and great for all types of surfers who have some experience. The season is from April to October although off season surfing is possible here.
- Around 15 km north of Taghazout you will come to Cape Ghir which has a prominent position looking out into the Atlantic Ocean in the south west of Morocco. It is only suited to expert surfers since there are lots of cliffs and rocks to negotiate before entering the water. However, it does see some excellent waves here.
- Situated in South West Morocco is the beach of Biba or Bhibah which is about 20 km away from Moulay. It is a great spot for intermediate and above surfers of all types as its two lagoons offer completely different conditions to suit everyone. The season is from April to October although it is posible to surf all year round here.
- Azemmour Plage or El Haouzia as it is otherwise known translated means “the olives”. It is located on the north west coast of Morocco in totally natural surrounding, looking out on to the Atlantic Ocean. It is mainly frequented by locals but more surfers are finding it on their way to Safi and stopping for a few days. It is a good spot for all types of surfers of all abilities.
- Lying in a crescent shaped bay on the south west coast of Morocco is the village of Agadir. It lies at the end of the Souss Valley, flanked by the Atlas mountain range, and as well as being one of Morocco's prime fishing ports, it also an impressive seaside resort. The sunny mediterranean climate makes it popular with tourists and it is also a good spot for kitesurfing and windsurfing at all levels. The season runs mainly from April to October but off season is possible here.
- This is a lagoon spot located 5 minutes west of the capital, Houmt Souk in Djerba. The spot attracts kitesurfers and windsurfers of all abilities who can surf all year round here, although the best months are from Spring to Fall.
- This is a lagoon spot in the north east of Djerba near to Houmt Zouk. It's an attractive spot with palm trees and several resort hotels. It is popular with kitesurfers of all abilities who can surf there all year round although the best months are from May to September.

- Smile Beach is a lagoon spot located just outside the capital, Houmt Souk on the lovely island of Djerba which lies just off the coast of Tunisia. It offers really great conditions for beginners since it is shallow with no currents, and also for advanced kiters who can practice new stunts here. Having said this, the beach is large enough to accommodate everyone even on the busiest of days.

In fact when the summer mistral blows it is one of the best wave spots in Tunisia. Ras Al Jabal offers good all year round surfing conditions and there are no surfing restrictions that apply. The best months are from May through to September.
- Situated in the Gulf of Hammamet on the eastern side of Tunisia lies the tourist resort of Sousse. It is a very popular place for kite surfers and surfers of all levels and abilities. Surfing is permitted all year around here without any restrictions, but you will need to use your discretion during the summer when the beach gets packed with swimmers and bathers. Having said this, the best times to surf are from May through to September when the thermal winds kick in.
- Situated on the northern tip of Tunisia on the peninsula of Cap Bon lies the town of Yasmine Hammamet. It is a very popular spot for wind surfers and kite surfers of all levels and abilities. This spot does get crowded with tourists and bathers, especially during, June, July and August, however there is still plenty of room for surfers, as long as you keep to the far end of the beach. The best times to surf here are from May through to September when the thermal winds come into play.
- Nestled on the stretch of coastline known as Safaga, on the Red Sea, is located the Soma Intercontinental which has a great beach near by that is widely used by windsurfers and kitesurfers of all abilities. The season is from April to October although the all year summer conditions make surfing possible all year round.
- Safaga is one of the most beautiful parts of the Red Sea Coast and here you will find the Shams Safaga Resort which has a 700 meter private beach which is great for windsurfing, kitesurfing at all levels as well as for catamaran trips. The strong and steady thermal winds make for a safe environment in which to learn, practice and improve. The season is from April to October although all year surfing is possible.
- The Ramada Resort is located some 20 kms past the town of Ras Sudr and about 80 km south of the entry to the Suez Canal. The coastline is stunning and since this part of Egypt does not attract so many tourists, it is ideal for windsurfers add kitesurfers of all abilities, who can take advantage of the constant winds and shallow waters.
- Paradise Village is one of the many new resorts that are rapidly growing just outside the town of Ras Sudr in South Sinai on the Gulf of Suez. It is a unique oasis for windsurfers and kitesurfers of all abilities, with conditions to suit everyone. Its location also makes it ideal to combine with a trip to Cairo if you so wish. The season is from April to October although off season is possible.
- The coastline of Nabq is the largest on the Gulf of Aqaba covering some 600 sq kms.The landscape is stunning and consists of high mountains, numerous valleys fringed by mangrove forests and corals reefs that can be easily reached from shore. The beach of Zouara is a family beach with its lovely white sands and warm shallow waters and its constant wind also makes it popular with wind and kitesurfers of all abilities. The season runs from May to October although off season is certainly possible.

Makadi Bay in EgyptJust 35 km south of Hurghada, on Egypt's Red Sea Coast, lies the resort of Makadi Bay. Its close proximity to the airport coupled with its all year round summer climate, makes this spot very popular with tourists as well as surfers of all types and abilities. The season is from May to October although off season is surfing is possible.
- Situated a stones throw away from the vibrant city of Hurghada on Egypt's Red Sea Coast lies the Colona Watersports Center. It caters for kite surfers and wind surfers of all levels and abilities. Although it will cost you somewhere between 17 and 40 Egyptian Pounds per day to surf here (this is somewhere between 3 and 7 USD) There are different zones that you will have to respect and beginners can use the training bay. This is reportedly one of the best set up watersports centers in Egypt and it is very well run and extremely well organised.

Lahami Bay in EgyptLahami Bay is Egypt's southern most beach resort . Sitting just north of the Ras Banas peninsula it is a popular place for wind surfers and kite surfers of all levels and abilities. It is possible to surf all year round here although the best months are probably May through to September when the thermal winds kick in.
- Just north of the industrial town of Ras Martama on the Gulf of Suez, south Sinai, lies Lagoon Beach. It is a large man made lagoon that is split into 2 separate ones. They are only 200 metres away from the sea so you have the best of both worlds. It is suitable for wind surfers and kite surfers of all levels and abilities but it is worth pointing out that the lagoons can only be used if you are staying at the Green Hotel or the Moon Beach Resort. It is good all year round but the best times for surfing are between May and September when the thermal winds kick in.

- Situated within close proximity to the modern resort of El Gouna on the Red Sea coast lies the spot at Gardenia beach. It is a very popular spot for surfers, wind surfers and kite surfers of all levels and abilities It is possible to surf all year round here although the best months are from May through to September when the thermal winds kick in. Bear in mind that a fee will be charged if you want to use the facilities at the surf school.
