It is a popular spot for wind surfers and kite surfers of intermediate and expert levels and abilities. It is not advisable for complete novices or beginners to practice here because of the harbor mole situated to the left of the beach. It does get busy in June, July and August and because of this, there may well be surfing restrictions in place. You might want to check this out before you set off. If you want to avoid the crowds and restrictions, then September to April id your best bet.

It is s very popular spot for surfers, wind surfers and kite surfers of all levels and abilities. The beach here does get a little crowded with tourists and beach goers during the summer months, so be aware there may well be restrictions in place. To avoid the restrictions and the crowds it might be best to surf between October and April.

  • El Bao is situated close to the bustling port of Vigo on the Ria Vigo estuary, where it meets the North Atlantic, in the province of Galicia. It is a popular spot for wind surfers and kite surfers of intermediate and expert levels. It is not advisable for beginners to practice here because of the rock hazards and the passing ships and boats that use this busy estuary. The beach here does get a little busy, particularly June, July and August, so there may well be surfing restrictions during this time. It would be best to check it out before you set off. If you want to avoid the crowds and restrictions, then September through to May is a good time.

It is very popular with tourists and surfers of intermediate level and ability. There is no real season here although time restrictions are likely to be in place during the busy summer months and so you would be well advised to come here from October to April to avoid the busy crowds.

  • This is a really nice place, an oasis of sand and water at the edge of the built up area that is Corona Del Mar.  It doesn't break very often but when it does it can be a very good spot, and can be a fun day or even a challenge for those with plenty of experience.

Such as, wave breakers/groynes, strong undercurrents, and the rocky harbor mole situated to the left of the beach. There are many tourists that flock here during the summer months and because of this there may well be time and zone restriction on surfing during this time. It is advisable to check this out before you set off. The best time for surfing here is probably April to June when you can pick up some thermal breezes

If you want to avoid the crowds and the restrictions then it is recommended that you surf from October through to April.

It is a popular spot for surfers, kite surfers and wind surfers of intermediate and expert abilities. It is not advisable for beginners to practice in these waters because there are quite a few hazards to look out for such as wave breakers and harbor mole. It does get packed with tourists during the summer season therefore there may well be time and zone restrictions in place. If you want to avoid crowds and restrictions then October through to April is a god idea, although the best months in order to catch the best winds, are March through to September

  • Situated approximately 2 hours north of Barcelona, towards the French border lies the beach at L'Estartit. It is a popular place with surfers, wind surfers and kite surfers of intermediate and expert abilities. Beginners and novices are not advised to practice here because there is a harbor mole. Also the waves here are fairly large in comparison to other spots in the area, there are also strong undercurrents. L'Estartit does get fairly busy with tourists during the summer months, particularly June, July and August. Because of this, there may well be zone and time restrictions in place. So if you want to avoid the crowds, then come from October through to April. Having said this, the best times for surfing are from April to September when the winds become thermal.
