General Information

Level:0-10 Season:January 1 — December 31

The sweeping curve of the island seems to just catch the currents and the winds here, and does so in a way of the makes the conditions easier rather than harder.  Kite surfers and windsurfers will both be seen out here, and lack of experience is no bar to having a good day out.

Beach

The beach is powdery white sand and a pretty good size, with plenty of room to launch a kite or set up rigging. It's warm and sunny all year round, and the coolest it ever gets is about 24° C in the middle of winter – that's the only time you might want to think about a shorty.

Wind&Waves

Flat water spot

You get a decent wind all year round, usually blowing from the north or the south-east and giving 15 to 20 knots, possibly more. The wind can be a little bit lighter in summer and give 10 to 15 knots, but it's still quite consistent and good to use.  The water covers a big area, is shallow, and usually flat with a the south-east wind and sometimes choppy with the north winds.

Facilities

There are absolutely no facilities here at all, it’s just you, the beach and the water. Make sure you bring everything you need with you as there isn't much on the island and you'll need to take a boat or plane to get here in the first place.

Safety

There are no hazards on the beach, in fact the only thing you need to watch out for are the rocks in the water, especially those to the south-east.
