The winds are a mixture of easterlies and westerlies with the best directions being ENE, E, ESE, SW, WSW and W. The winds are best during fall and spring, with summer winds being the lightest. Winter months see an air temperature of around 18-20 degrees with a water temperature of 18 degrees so a wetsuit is needed then.
