General Information
Level:0-10 Season:May 1 — September 1 -
Situated in the north east of Italy in the province of Venezia lies the beach at Bibione. It is a very popular destination for wind surfers and kite surfers of all levels and abilities. The beach gets very busy during the summer when there are many tourists. Because of this, there may well be surfing zones, restrictions in place. Having said that, the best times to surf are between the months of May through to September when the thermal winds kick in.

Beach
-
The beach itself is very large and is made up of a combination of sand and small pebbles. Apart from tourists, it is hazard and obstacle free. To get here you will need to drive drive eastbound out of Venice on the A4 or A14 following the signs for Bibione and the beach. There is plenty of parking here.
-
Wind&Waves
-
The main wind direction is south east and south west. Both directions work really well here. The water quality is clean and conditions are generally choppy with small waves appearing when the wind is strong enough and in the right direction. There is also a shallow access. The water temperature falls somewhere between 7 and 25 degrees so you will need to suit up accordingly.
