General Information
Level:6-10 Season:January 1 — December 31 -
Situated on the east coast of Spain not far from the resort of Gandia Lies the beach at El Paquebote. It is a very popular spot for surfers, wind surfers and kite surfers alike of intermediate and expert abilities. Beginners are not recommended to practise here because of the wave breakers/groynes placed along the length of the beach. There is no particular season here but the best months for surfing are December, January and February when the north easterlies kick in. If you go in the summer be aware that there may well be restricted zones and times.

Beach
-
The beach here is long but not very wide and is made up of pebbles and stones. It does get busy in the summer so try to avoid this time of year. To get here you head south out of Valencia towards Gandia. Before you get here you will see signs for Els Poblets and L'estanyo. The beach is just here.
-
Wind&Waves
-
The winds here are frontal and mainly come at you from an easterly direction. The best direction for surfing here is north easterly but these tend to occur more in the winter months. The wind speed Is around 4-5 knots most of the time but it can get pretty gusty during the winter. The water quality is clean with some nice waves rolling right up onto the beach of around 3 meters in height when the wind is right. The water temperature remains somewhere between 16-26 degrees dependent upon the time of year.

Safety
-
