Described by some as a small part of paradise, Koros is a gorgeous beach located on the tiny island of Limnos, also known as Lemnos, which lies just of Greece in the northern part of the Aegean Sea. The beach is large, at around 3 kms, with pristine white sand and is totally obstaacle free. There is plenty of space to launch and land a kite safely. The area around the beach is a protected ecosystem and you are not allowed to drive on to the beach or the dunes. You can get here by plane or ferry and the surf club is located about 500 meters to the left of the beach bar as you walk towards the sea.

Wind&Waves
-
The winds are trade winds and come at you from either northerly or easterly directions. The winds are pretty steady sideshore, here at Keros and the spot is great for everyone. The water is crystal clear with small waves and a sandy bottom. It lends itself to most surf styles including freestyle, wave, bump and jump and long distance.
