General Information
Level:0-10 Season:January 1 — December 31 -
Mar Bella is a small sandy beach situated a little north of Barcelona looking out on the the Mediterranean Sea. It is actually an official naturist beach and also a good place to kitesurf. There is also some sailing in the area. There is no real season here and all round surfing is possible with a thick wetsuit.

Beach
-
There is an average sized sandy beach with a concrete promenade and a few pebbly areas. Much of the time there is sufficient space to lay out your gear but summer is a definite no go, at least for kiters, as it is not allowed from June until the end of September. You can get here by driving about 3 km north of Barcelona harbor on the B10.
-
Wind&Waves
-
The winds are predominantly thermal easterlies with the best winds being in September and February. The wind is fairly constant with an average speed of around 4 knots. The water is crystal clear and there are small waves of under 1 meter with easterly winds and flat to choppy water with SW, S and NW winds. The summers are hot here and the water is a pleasant 24 degrees with an air temperature of around 30 degrees.

Facilities
-
There is parking at this beach and you can buy food here. For a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants you need to drive back into nearby Barcelona. The nightlife is pretty amazing there as well, and if you are looking to party the night away, then this is the place to be.
