General Information
Level:0-10 Season:January 1 — December 31 -
This is one of the better spots in the area and produces decent sized waves a bit more consistently than other places. It is a fairly chilled out place and is suitable for all experience levels.
-
Beach
-
You might be surprised to learn that the name of this place is given for the colour of the sand that you find here. It is a good sized stretch of sand, right on the edge of the town and bounded by trees and grass at both ends. As with most spots round here it's a pretty quiet place to surf and you shouldn't have any problems finding a wave of your own.
-
Wind&Waves
-
The swell starts building from just less than 1 m and will build up to a maximum of just over 3 m when the wind is coming from the north-west, west or south-west and the swell is coming from the north or north-east. It is a beach break, both right and left, and is about average in terms of power and speed making it a pretty fun wave to be on. Length is typically short and will be around 50 m, unless you catch it on a good day in which case you can expect it to be a respectable 200 to 300 m.

Facilities
-
The town of Red Beach is a decent size and has a fair bit of choice when it comes to accommodation, places to eat, entertainment etc and you can of course always camp if you find a suitable spot.

Safety
-
There is nothing to concern you here, you can just focus on perfecting your technique.
