General Information
Level:10-10 Season:March 1 — November 1 -
St Peter–Boehl is less well known than its sister spot St Peters Ording however it is still a great spot for surfers, wind surfers and kite surfers alike of all abilities and levels. There is easy parking right on the beach (for a small fee) and lots of space in the water which means that even in the height of summer there is always plenty of room. The season runs from March to November but if you really want to avoid the crowds, come during the week.

Beach
-
St Peter-Boehl offers a huge sandy beach with hard and soft sand. Be aware that you may have to walk about 500 meters at high tide and 700 meters at low tide to get down to the waters edge. But nevertheless picking your spot should be a breeze. To get here you need to take the B202 out of St Peters – Ording and follow the signs for St Peters – Boehl. Follow the signs over the dam and look for the beach, here you can park up.
-
Wind&Waves
-
The wind here is a frontal and is heavily dependent upon depressions. The main direction is westerly, and any connotations of this will work. The best winds occur in autumn through to spring and the average wind speed is around 12-13 knots which is fairly constant, however it can get pretty gusty at times. The water is flat to choppy with small waves (around 1 meter) getting bigger with increasing winds and the first 100-200 meters is reasonably shallow. There is a small lagoon that forms on high tide which gets deeper towards the south end.
