The main wind directions are southerly and variations thereof and all these directions tend to work well. Wind speed can be around 5-15 knots and is fairly constant during the summer. The water quality is crystal clear and conditions are flat to choppy pretty much all of the time with some small waves. The spot is tide independent. There isn't very much at this part of the beach, except parking. For bars, cafes and shops you need to head into Bari town itself which is well equipped with all that you could need. The nightlife is pretty good here too.

Safety

Although this is a reasonably safe spot you do need to be aware of the rocks scattered around the beach and in the water. Also watch out for swimmers in the summer.
