Beach

Sand Gradual descent

The beach is large and sandy and totally hazard free. It does get packed with tourists during the summer months and so it is probably better to visit from September onwards. You can get here by driving west from Formia until you reach Vendicio where the beach is signposted and there is plenty of parking.

Wind&Waves

Wave spot Regular wind

The main wind direction is south westerly and this direction also works really well here. The water quality is clear and conditions are generally choppy with small waves. The water temperature falls somewhere between 10-24 degrees depending upon the time of year, so you may need to suit up in the winter months but for the rest of the time a shorty will probably be ample.
