General Information
Level:4-10 Season:January 1 — August 31 -
This spot is right on the northernmost tip of the island. It catches the wind and the currents as the are pulled round the point, and the result is a location that probably gives the biggest waves on Aruba. It is good for surfers, windsurfers and kitesurfers, but is most definitely only for those with plenty of experience.

Beach
-
The beach is small and sandy, if there are more than a few kiters out it can seem busy, but fortunately it doesn’t get many tourists. If you go on the other side of the road there is plenty of room to set up rigging.
-
Wind&Waves
-
The wind blows pretty consistently from January to August, during which you can expect 25 knots or more fairly frequently. It comes from the northeast all year round, and outside the main months it will reach about 15 knots. The water is crystal clear, as usual, and you can depend on it providing waves up to 3m or more during the peak season, with smaller waves in late summer and fall.
-
Facilities
-
There are no facilities here, but at least the parking is convenient – it’s right by the beach, on the dunes at the side of the road. It is probably the most remote spot on the island, so you’ll have to drive for a while to reach the nearest town.
-
Safety
-
There are some big rocks just below the surface. If surfing, avoid the left break as it washes right over the rocks and you’re likely to hit them. If you are out with a sail or kite, be wary of the gusty winds as they can quickly cause problems for the unwary.
